Before thinking about the check-in, it is necessary to know how to exit the airport. Tourist VISA must be purchased for the price of 50$ per person. Another payment when you leave the country could be requested. In this case, the amount will range from 38$ to 48$.
- Check-in at our structures must be done between 2 pm and 10 pm of arrival day.
- For the check-out: rooms must be freed before 11 am.
- Any arrival after 10 pm must be notified.
Fruit & Spice Resort is located 57 km away from Stone Town and Zanzibar International Airport. Transfer service available.
We suggest our guests to get national cash in advance since the bank offices are placed in Stone Town, 40 minutes away from the resort. In Zanzibar, it is important to have national currency. Some shops don’t accept credit cards.
CURRENCY
In the Fruit & Spice Wellness Resort the common currency is the dollar (bills printed after 2009 only) but we also accept euros and shillings applying the exchange rate in effect at the time.
CREDIT CARDS
Accepted credit cards are Visa and Mastercard. All transactions made via credit card will be subject to a 3.1% increase due to bank commission. All transactions made as deposits and/or final payment before your arrival in Zanzibar won’t be subject to this bank commission.
PAYMENTS
You are requested to pay the total amount for your stay at arrival, while all extras will be settled at check-out. Our Day trips Office accepts both credit cards and cash.
All purchases made in other structures, since they are managed externally, can’t be included in the room bill.
Internet connection is present through Wi-Fi in all the structure. In the room, you can find European sockets together with adaptors for other type of sockets.
Inside our structure you can find the Vanilla Center, a building with makuti roofing placed at fifteen meters of height where our guests can enjoy a real micro-cosmos.
MANGO BOUTIQUE
In the Vanilla Center, there is a boutique with a wide range of clothes for those who want to dress following the international fashion and for those who want to adapt to the local fashion. Not only can you find garments, but also local craftmanship and beach products to enjoy the Zanzibar sea in complete security.
FITNESS STUDIO
A five-starred gym located in the Vanilla Center. Fitness Studio is at all guests’ disposal at Fruit & Spice Wellness Resort.
MEETING ROOM
Big companies or practices care a lot about the work and productivity of their managers and partners. Inside the Vanilla Center there is a bookable meeting room with all the comforts.
LIBRARY
We dedicated a service to our guests who love reading. Vanilla Center hosts a well-provided library where you can borrow books for free. You can also exchange one of your books with another present. Once you choose your reading, the best is yet to come. In a location such as the Vanilla Center there is plenty of beautiful corners where to read.
